To begin with, on 2nd September 2019 we all celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi. On the same day, we all saw a video which went super viral on social media where an astronaut is walking on the moon. For a second, we all believed it. The man behind this artwork is Baadal Nanjundaswamy.
Hats off for his creativity. Further, the main purpose of the video was to highlight the bad roads of Hero Halli Cross bus stop, Bengaluru. Artist Baadal Nanjundaswamy made the actor Poornachandra Mysore wear a spacesuit costume and made a perspective of him moonwalking on the potholes.
Also to mention, this is not the first time that he is creating artworks for highlighting the issues. One of his previous artwork where he created a crocodile in a pothole also went viral. He makes sure to grab the attention for issues that need to be fixed. It’s kind off routine now for Baadal Nanjundaswamy, making headlines every time and getting the work done by the civic authorities.
